Here I wore a crocheted dress worn with a pleated maxi skirt. So the maxi skirt covers the lower part of the dress. For accesories, a black studded belt & a scarf worn as a headwrap :)

Im inlove love love with the maxi skirt! Such a fan! This Spring is all about colour. Bright colours, maxi's & pleats. One more thing I forgot to to add to this outfit is a wide brimmed hat. Must have! And if I wasnt on the sand I wouldve been rockin' a proper wedge.

Last Goodbye to Winter ..

Last weekend I went out with the fam for a trip to Langebaan on the west coast. It was too awesome. I felt so much closure with everyone I was with. I got to know more about myself and the trip was so soothing.

This is what I wore on the day we arrived. Dont let the sun that shows on the picture fool you, it was HELLA cold! I decided to say my farewell to winter with a pussy bow tie blouse, a D&G reindeer mini skirt that my aunt got me for my birthday, a biker jacket and a Woolies ankle boot I got last year.

I always get asked about this picture so I thought I'd post it and tell a lil tale about it :). This was taken at a cousins wedding 3months ago (the first ever Ive attended). It was a Muslim wedding here in Cape Town.

Unlike a lot of people who've been having trouble finding pleated maxi skirts, I got lucky enough and got this from my granny's closet. The skirt was hers way back.
