Here I wore a crocheted dress worn with a pleated maxi skirt. So the maxi skirt covers the lower part of the dress. For accesories, a black studded belt & a scarf worn as a headwrap :)

Im inlove love love with the maxi skirt! Such a fan! This Spring is all about colour. Bright colours, maxi's & pleats. One more thing I forgot to to add to this outfit is a wide brimmed hat. Must have! And if I wasnt on the sand I wouldve been rockin' a proper wedge.

Last Goodbye to Winter ..

Last weekend I went out with the fam for a trip to Langebaan on the west coast. It was too awesome. I felt so much closure with everyone I was with. I got to know more about myself and the trip was so soothing.

This is what I wore on the day we arrived. Dont let the sun that shows on the picture fool you, it was HELLA cold! I decided to say my farewell to winter with a pussy bow tie blouse, a D&G reindeer mini skirt that my aunt got me for my birthday, a biker jacket and a Woolies ankle boot I got last year.

I always get asked about this picture so I thought I'd post it and tell a lil tale about it :). This was taken at a cousins wedding 3months ago (the first ever Ive attended). It was a Muslim wedding here in Cape Town.

Unlike a lot of people who've been having trouble finding pleated maxi skirts, I got lucky enough and got this from my granny's closet. The skirt was hers way back.

Vanessa Hudgens has gone pixie! :D. I love it. I love how she looks now. I like the transition ever since HSM3. She dresses very bohemian and looks so mature [faint!]

Recently spotted a few looks that I absolutely adore from certain style stars. Spring is coming up, yay :D ! More lazy days at the beach, double yay :D ! I was hoping on taking a lot of pictures today but the weather is an epic fail! Oh well ..

Ashlee Simpson has been on the hush lately, but I managed to find a picture of her taken at an event she recently attended ..Check it out (below)

The look is pretty casual but I love how she added a lil touch of this and that.

 

I totally love her pixie cut! I like how everyone has gone pixie of late, like myself :)

Touch of red to her leopard dress is stunning. The red lip always finishes up the look.

This lady never disappoints. We all know her from Gossip girl and the statement pieces she always rocks up with. Her sense of style is very elegant and sophisticated. I love how the dress is cinched on the waist, to show a lil curve here and there.

This mini dress is lovely. Very elegant especially the bright red and accentuated shoulders.

Lauren Conrad & Nina Dobrev.

The printed mini dresses they're both wearing scream adorbz! They'll work perfectly well for the summer. I feel like I'd add a biker jacket for a chilly night out. Amaze!

Wow! Ive been away for so so long, feels like centuries! Ok maybe a lil exaggerated there but thats pretty much how it feels like. School has been rather tough so there hasnt been that much time for blogging :(, other problems got in the way but now Im back :) and will try posting stuff as often as I can.
