"I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little-if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe thats the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be pretty as possible for destiny." - Coco Chanel.

I'm actually so glad to see that people are wearing printed trousers. I went out today and saw a couple of people rocking the trend. I was pretty behind when it came to it cause I haven't bin out much, and presumably thought that we only bringing the trend out in spring, but I guess we got in too much of a rush. Can see that we even got ourselves printed stockings, which can be worn with a shirt dress with boots in winter and toss a scarf round the neck. I'm a big fan of the harem pant and got a beige colour the other day - will be posting picture soon :)

OK this one really is for spring (top)

stunning clogs.

Rachel Antoff Loves Bass.

Sometimes its nice to embrace your sweet and non swearing feminine side, which is where the  Rachel Antonoff collaboration with Bass comes in. Rachel created a collection for the footwear company that can preeeety much bring out the girly side in a rebellious chick. I haven't seen these honey's in the country yet, (Bass & Rachel had better make a plan) so I suggest to not forget to DEMAND a pair from a family member or friend going abroad ! Stain your lips red, wear a flower in your hair and let that lucky guy pay for dinner with these cute baby's! :)

on my wishlist.

1. Puffy Sleeves

One shoulder puff dress. - Leopard Print

Some of our favorite trendsetters have taken a shining to a different variation of the look. Whether it's a fancy flounce on a little black dress or on a vintage bolero, this iteration is less Frankenstein and more feminine, creating a silhouette that is soft yet dramatic. As long as exaggeration is avoided, cause then you'd end up looking like a circus clown.

2. Striped Blazer
I totally appreciate the vibe on striped blazers. I'd absolutely WORK this baby if it came into my life - he he :). Bold striped or any other blazer for that matter makes a sufficiently bold statement - on its own, with not even jewellery required. Just a pop of colour from a scarf or bag would do.

3.Nude Pumps

These baby's are a MUST HAVE ! They go with anything and in my case ha ha make legs look long. The well-appointed pump features simple, sleek, sexy lines making it a versatile addition to your shoe wardrobe. Classic & Timeless.

4. Tan Biker Jacket

5. Cat eye sunglasses
I feel that these would be such a joy to wear. They were mainly popular in the 1950s and 1960s among fashionable women.

6. Mungo & Jemima

I wouldn't mind an item or two at Mango & Jemima, a boutique on Long Street, Cape Town by *local designers* ! :)

and lastly

Sparrows are oh-so dear and because of that I made the decision of making a permanent mark on my left arm two months ago.  (picture below)

I would absolutely Love to own a vintage sparrow necklace ! !

The fact that I haven't been blogging much is getting to me on another level. The cause of this is the immense workload I've been getting at school and I hate the fact that its gotten to that point where I'm complaining about it. Nonetheless Ive been working pretty hard at reaching thaaat goal :).
Another thing that's gotten in the way is not having a camera. I misplaced my camera charger and have BIN looking but can't seem to find it. There wont be as much updates on what I wear because exams are coming up and until I work my way at getting another camera, we'll all have to settle with what I recommend on wearing, tips and items that are drool worthy for the time being.

Fan Bingbing

I've bin keeping a reeeally close eye on Chinese actress and singer, Fan Bingbing. She's become a style icon and I seriously can't get over how absolutely stunning she is.

On the picture below she is rockin' a turban/head wrap

The turban is actually a crystal cardigan that the designer gifted her the day before. She showed up later wearing this outfit with the cardigan wrapped as a turban. This demonstrates why I'm particularly fascinated with her style. She is original, and a risk taker.

Couldn't be more in Love with this dress, the pattern is flawless and is just on some other tip. I especially Love the fact that its a one shoulder dress.

I'm so sorry if I'm over doing the pictures, ha ha. I'm totally blown away :)

Please care to check out the star clutch. Sooo amazing !

My personal favourite (which is why its saved for last) are these sunglasses with a bow. I need to get myself a pair and FAST. Miss.Fan can't get any more classy. You've got to Love what she puts together. Id absolutely sleep in her wardrobe, that first and theeen steal all her clothes :).
